Beverly Stewart, age 85 a native of Terrebonne Parish resident of Houma passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025. Mr Beverly was a loving brother,uncle and friend. He worked for Mayflower Trucking Company for many years, he will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM with Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel 230 South Hollywood Road Houma LA.
Beverly is survived by his siblings, Calvin Steward Sr. of Chicago, Illinois, James Steward of Houma, Louisiana, Devoria and Loretta Steward, both of Houma, Louisiana; his godchildren, Charles Crawford and Shenikqual Kimber; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hayes; his parents, Thomas T. Steward and Brunetta Williams; his siblings, Bernard Steward, Claudette Smith and Claudell Outley; maternal grandparents, Eddie and Edna Williams.
He was a member of Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church, his hobbies was dancing and spending time with his family
