Visitation will be observed on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA., from 8:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Pastor David Jones will officiate the services. Burial with Police Officer Honors will follow funeral services in the Berwick Cemetery in Berwick, LA.
Memories of "Bernie" as he was known to all will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of his two daughters, Angela Johnson Singleton of Houston, TX and Takara Johnson of Lafayette, LA; his companion, Jacqueline Tillman of Four Corners, LA; one brother, Donald Johnson (Virginia) of Berwick; four sisters, Brenda Gash of Austin, TX, Gwen Johnson (Glenn) of Port Arthur, TX, Shirley Black (Clarence) of Berwick, LA and Tina Keys (Clarence) of Patterson, LA; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Burnell was preceded in death by his mother and father, Thomas Johnson, Jr. and Pinky Sutton.
