Carl Preston Hayes,I., 68, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:15 a.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at New Vision Family Worship Center on Saturday, September 21, 2013. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. and burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery. He is survived by: three daughters, Theresa H. (Thomas) Joseph, Samantha D. Hayes, and Nicole H. (Rickey) Sneeze; one brother, Harry Fitch; two sisters, Laverne Hayes and Aline H. Smith; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his spouse, Audrey S. Hayes; his parents, Alice Washington Hayes and Sylvester Fitch; five sisters, Hilda and Eloise Hayes, Hazel Joseph, Mable Anderson, and Cecile Billiot; and nine brothers, Lawrence, Berwick, Johnus, Hubert, and Freddie Hayes, Paul, Alvin, John and Antoine Fitch.
