Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 6775 West Park Avenue in Houma. Burial will follow in Union Benevolent Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louis Livas Alvis; sons, Allen, Rontrell, Dontrell and Carlos (Ashley) Alvis; daughter, Danielle Alvis; ten grandchildren; brothers, Thaddeus, Sr., Freddie, Sr. (Mary) and Edward Alvis; sister, Lydia Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Alvis, Sr. and Bernice Williams.
