Chad was born on July 14, 1974 to Henry Jones Jr. and Marion Harding Jones of Gray, La. Although he was a quiet, humble spirit, his actions spoke volumes. He graduated from the Terrebonne Parish school system and worked at Walmart for many years. Chad helped raise his nieces and nephews as if they were his own, offering them love support and guidance. His love extended across generations down to his great nieces and nephews.
Chad is survived by his loving parents, Henry Jones Jr. and Marion Harding Jones of Gray, La.; 2 devoted sisters Tamara (Michael) Price of Thibodaux, La. and Mica (Lenard) Calloway of Houma, La; 2 brothers, Cedric (Lequinza) Jones of Schriever, La. and Rene’ (Shearton) Jones of Gray, La. He leaves behind a legacy of love for his 15 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends who cherished him.
Chad was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl Harding Sr. and Annie Mae Howard Harding, paternal grandparents, Henry Jones Sr. and Bertha Mae Moses Jones, maternal aunt, Lucille Nevis, maternal uncles, James and Louis Harding, paternal aunt, Earlis Jones Williams, paternal uncles, Larry and Douglas Jones and 3 cousins, LaTonia Harding, Deon Harding and Donald Jones Jr.
Visitation for Chad will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 2766 Highway 311, Schriever La 70395. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories, 3658 W. Main St., Gray La 70359.
