Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 a Morning Star Baptist Church located at 108 Livas Lane in Thibodaux, LA with Rev. Eugene Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Lily Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Freddie Lee Goodwin, Sr.; son, Freddie L. Goodwin, Jr; grandson, Robert Johnson, Jr.; sister, Marcia Joseph; a devoted niece and caretaker, Quanta Joseph; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lashawn Chandrell Goodwin; granddaughter, Hazen Johnson; and parents, Edward and Clara Jackson-Joseph.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
