Darold Kenneth Hawkins

Visitation will be Saturday November 12, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, LA from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 1:00 P.M. at the St Jules Catholic Church in Franklin, LA with Father Peter serving as the Celebrant. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow the mass services in the St Jules Catholic Church Cemetery in Franklin, LA.

Darold was a veteran of the United Stated Army, receiving and Honorable Discharge.

Memories of Darold will forever remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Constance M. Hawkins of Franklin, LA; one son, Kenneth Hawkins and his wife Ariel of Oklahoma City, OK; a daughter, Shimira Johnson and her husband, Marlon of Atlanta, GA; one he helped to rear as a daughter, Andrekia Coleman of Franklin, LA; four brothers, Wayne Hawkins, Sr. of Franklin, LA, Louis Hawkins and his wife Pamela, Rickey Hawkins, and Gregory Hawkins, Sr.; one sister, Connie H. Louis all of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Jaylen and Jordan Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Taylor and Tia Hawkins of Franklin, LA and Ansley Hawkins of Oklahoma City, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Darold was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Hawkins, Jr, and Ella M. Wiley-Hawkins; a daughter, Lakeisha Renee' Hawkins; a sister, Linda H. Washington; his paternal grandparents, Louis and Elizabeth Hawkins, Sr. and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Alice Wiley, Sr.
