Dawn Douglas, age 33, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at her residence at 2:40 PM. Visitation will be Monday, May 14, 2012 at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 Saint Charles St., Houma, La., from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Jackson, officiating. Dawn leaves to cherish her memories; her maternal grandmother, Lillie Mae Parker of Houma, La., her companion, Steven Young of Houma, La; two brothers, Delloid (Rhonda) Douglas and Michael Jerome Parker both of Houma, La; one sister, Freda Lyn Douglas Pharr (Patrick) of Houma, La. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine Parker Douglas and Bernie Douglas, and her grandparents, Lawrence Parker, Sr., Ethel Smith Douglas, Clifford and Doretha Williams Douglas, and her great grandparents.
