Donald Gene Bennett, Sr.

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at New Salem Baptist Church in Patterson, La. from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 2:00 PM.  Burial  will follow funeral service in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson, La. Rev. Samuel Calhoun will officiate service.

Memories of Donald will forever be remembered in the hearts of his lovely wife, Ella Mae Triggs-Bennett of Patterson; four sons, Donald Bennett, Jr., Ronald (Patrticia) Bennett and Darrell (Sheena) Roberson and Roderick Bennett all of Patterson, La; three daughters, Susan Bennett (Riupton Lindsay), Angela (Kevin) Johnson and Heza Griffin Piggott all of Patterson, La; a brother, Bertrand Bennett of Patterson, La; three sisters, Gracie B. Jennings and Frankie Mae Ladday both of Patterson, La., and Alberta Richards of Katy, TX; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; Frankie Bennett and Elvena Hamilton Bennett, a sister, Frances Joy Washington, three brothers, Albert Bennett, Charles Allen Bennett and Calvin Bennett.
