Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Dularge Community Baptist Church, 549 Andrew St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Jackson and Wilbert Jones, Jr.; daughters, Tamira and Stacey Jackson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Hewitt and Dale Jackson; sister, Mary Lee Poindexter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shamira Jackson; granddaughter, Kayliee M. Jackson; parents, Nathaniel and Amy Harris Jackson; brothers, Clifford and Clarence Jackson; sisters, Ora Mae Johnson and Hester Mae Shephard.
