Ervin "Trixie" Collins, Jr., 77, a resident and native of Franklin (St. Joseph Area), LA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM. at University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. 

A drive-thru viewing will be held on Saturday April 3, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street Franklin, LA from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM. Services will be accessible by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Page at 2:00 PM on Saturday April 3, 2021. 

Memories Ervin, Jr. will forever remain in the hearts of his children, Darlene (Manuel) Collins-Vazquez of Franklin, LA, Ervin (Shawantay) Orlando Collins, III of New Iberia, LA, Edwin Braxton (Luvy) Collins, Sr. and Cherise (Jeffrey) Collins-Roman both of Franklin, LA; two sisters, Jeri Trice of Panola, CA and Delores Thomas of New Orleans, LA; brother--in-law, Donald Ray Wiggins; sisters-in-law, Peggy (Russell) Mingo, Georgia Collins, and Odessa Williams; thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Ervin Jr. was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joyce Wiggins Collins; daughter, Angie Collins; parents, Ervin Collins, Sr. and Louise Bowles Collins; his siblings, Claude Collins, Rose Mary Harris, Beulah Dixon, Ruth Crockette, Leotha Navy, Mary Monette, Lois Jones, Alvin Green, and Clifford Green.
