Eugene McGuire, age 91, a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 4:10 AM at Terrebonne General Medical Center. Visitation will be Saturday, October 27, 2012 at New St. Matthews Baptist Church in Houma, La., from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial in the New St. Matthews Baptist Cemetery in Houma, La. Eugene leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Leola W. McGuire of Houma, La; four sons, Floyd McGuire, Larry McGuire and Barry McGuire of Houma, La; and Ronald McGuire of Forney, TX; seven daughters, Brenda M. Marshall and Mary McGuire Boyd both of Gretna, La., Carrie B. Theriot of Atlanta, Ga., Alma McGuire, Geraldine M. Lewis and Ruby L. Byrd all of Houma, La; and Wilma McGuire of Waggaman, La; two adopted daughters, Lorraine Augustine & Vera Ward both of Houma, La.; twenty-five grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
