Gayle "Juanita" Marie Johnson

A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road in Houma. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her companion, Charles Neville, Sr; sons, Ahmah and Denton Johnson, Chad and Charles Neville, Jr., and Chris Walls; daughters, Yentl and Heather Johnson (Antonio), and Chelsea Norman; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Sidney (Lillie), Stanley (Bobbie), Edward (Yvonne) and Elbert Williams (Betty), Joseph (Joyce), Keith (Sandra), and Chris Wheaton; sisters, Linda Williams and Rose Wade (Percy), Sandra Williams (Charles), Cheryl Cleveland (Raymond), Dawn Wheaton, Frances Alexis (Vernon), Winnie Johnson, Julie Short (Carl), Nadine Davis (Trey) and Johnny Edwards and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Lagarde Wheaton (William, Sr.); parents, Sidney and Mildred Lagarde Williams; brothers, Octave, Melvin and Everette Williams, Keith and Albert Johnson, Jr.; sisters, Carolyn J. Davis, Janell Johnson, Annette Cooper and Brenda Richardson.
