Irving John Drexler, Jr.

Visitation will be observed on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main Street in Franklin, LA., from 8:00 AM until the recitation of the rosary at 9:30 AM followed by an expression and memorial tribute time immediately following the recitation of the rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 3041 Chitamacha Trail Charenton, LA 70523 with Father Cedric Sonnier serving as the Celebrant. Burial will follow mass services in the church cemetery. 

Memories of Irving will forever remain in the hearts of his loving wife, Magdalene Collins Drexler of the home; a son Quientin (Tawidah) Drexler, Sr. of Irving, TX; a daughter, Jamie Drexler of Addison, TX; one brother,  Charles Drexler of Glenco, LA; four sisters, Beverly Spencer of Baton Rouge, LA; Brenda Drexler of Macon, GA; Barbara Drexler of Glencoe, LA; Gail Lancelin (Wallace, Sr.) of Baldwin, LA; six grandchildren, Anylah Coleman, Quientin Drexler, Jr., Aja Coleman, Aliza Coleman, Quadry Drexler, and Gabrielle Drexler and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Irving was preceded in death by his son, Gary Paul Drexler; his parents, Irving Drexler, Sr. and Clara Bryant Drexler and two brothers, Craig Drexler and Donald Drexler.
