James "T'-Neg" Curtis Parfait

A visitation will be conducted from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road, Houma, LA 70360. A public viewing will be conducted from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the chapel. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Onedia (Anita) and Kathleen (Kathy) Parfait adopted daughter, Lucinda Crews; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; brothers, Paul and Angelo Parfait; sisters, Barbara Fitch, Bessie Jackson, Beverly Billiot, Angelie Parfait, Patricia and Cindy Verdin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence "Sush" Billiot Parfait; son, James K. Parfait; daughter, Juanita Parfait; parents, Joseph "Took" and Marie Eva Solet Parfait; stepmother, Marie "Irene" Parfait; brothers, Jessie, Patrick, and Joseph "Aubrey" Parfait; paternal grandparents, Henry and Juliana Parfait; maternal grandparents, John and Josephine Solet.
