He is survived by his wife, Chrissy Verdin Mataya; his son, Trevor Thomas Mataya; his father, Gregory Bruce Mataya (Kathy); sisters, Chantelle Mataya, Brandie Use, Elizabeth Castillo, Elena Hernandez, Sheena Vargas, Shannon Mixtun and Jessica Boudwin; brothers, Conan Anthony, James Michael, Shawn Domangue, Robert Vreeland and Dustin Boudwin; and fiance, Lacey Guidroz.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Scott; and paternal grandmother, Francis Daigle.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
