Visitation will be observed from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St. Peter United Methodist Church 986 St. Peter Street Jeanerette, LA 70544. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing). Services will be accessible by viewing the Jones Funeral Home, Inc. Facebook Page at 11:00 AM on Wednesday December 22, 2021. Burial will follow funeral services in the St. Peter United Methodist Church Cemetery. 

Jessie was blessed with three children, Louise Cielto, Edith La Chapelle, and Denyse Poarch; nine grandchildren, Erik, Zahra, Jelani, Afiya, Tau, Tahira, Yentyl, Asia, and Brandon; eight great-grandchildren, Kaya, Kanaya, Malachi, Kayelle, Alaia, Zidan, Amaria, and Arielle.

Her extended family includes her: companion, Charles Henderson, and his daughters: Trina, Lyn, Demetria, Vita, and Trina's husband Darrel Sanders; a niece, Carolyn Spencer and her husband, Earcel Spencer; and a faithful friend, Laura Sparrow.
