John B. "Tootie" Grogan, Jr., 34, a resident of Alexandria, LA and a native of Morgan City, LA, passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at the Capitol House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 5:32 AM in Baton Rouge, LA.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA., from 9:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow services in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson, LA.
Memories of "Tootie", as he was known to many, will forever remain in the hearts of his father, John B. Grogan, Sr. and his wife, Paula Smith of Amelia, LA; his mother, Carolyn Chan and her husband, Derick of Morgan City, LA; two sisters, Alice Mae Townsend and her husband, Kenneth of Houma, LA and Lakisha L. Grogan of Morgan City, LA; one brother, Patrick Williams of Patterson, LA; a step-brother, Cristobal Balbuena; one nephew, Tra'John Singleton; one niece, La'Nariyah Bennett; twelve aunts, seven uncles and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
