Johnny Jerome Ray

Johnny is survived by his son, Johnny Williams of Houma,LA ; and his daughter, O'mica Williams, Atlant, GA; his father, Sylvester Ray, Sr. of Houma, Louisiana and his mother Audrey L. Ray of Houma, Louisiana; his brother Sylvester Ray, Jr. of Houma, Louisiana, his brother Kevin Ray of Houma, Louisiana, his brother Billy W. Ray of Houston, Texas and his sister Angela R. Veguilla of Columbia Park, Maryland; his grandson Hezekiah Williams. four great grandchildren, Hileia, Haiden, Hamoni, and Haizelee.

Johnny was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Lewis, his maternal grandmother Amanda Gray Lewis, his paternal grandfather Leonard Hawkins, his paternal grandmother Leola Hawkins, his nephew Sylvester Ray, III., and his nephew Johnathan Ray.

A visitation for Johnny will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, 230 S. Hollywood, Houma, LA 70364. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 230 S. Hollywood Rd, Houma, LA 70364. An interment will occur Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, Gibson, LA.

Serving as pallbearers are Jeremiah Ray, Howard Short, Jr., Shaquille Lamark, Shawn Williams, Josh Ledet, Kevin Porche, Demarcus Johnson, Sylvester Ray, Sr., Kevin Ray, John W. Lewis, Sylvester Ray, Jr., Billy W. Ray, Bradley W. Lewis and Daryle L. Howard.
