Joseph Castle, Sr.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4 at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles St. in Houma. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Dwayne Castle (Carmelisa Burns), Joseph Castle, Jr. (Cathy), Geovandie Lewis (Lannette), Donovan Lewis, Joseph Brumfield (Maggie), and Cleveland Smith (Katrolmecia); daughters, Keianna McFarlane (Paul), and Amanda Castle (Brandi); twenty-three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers, William Castle, Sr. (Musette) and Donald Castle, Sr. (Cynthia); sisters, Carolyn Carter (Carlus), Rosalyn Castle, Clara Barabin, and Paulette C. Lay.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curvin, Sr. and Riffie Champagne Castle; brothers, Louis Castle, Sr., Curvin Castle, Jr., and Issac Castle, Sr.; sister, Josie Mae Austin; paternal grandparents, William and Clara Castle; maternal grandparents, Beatrice Theriot and Henry Champagne.
