Joseph Hunt, Sr., age 69, a resident of Lafayette, LA and a native of Centerville, La., died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 2:45 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette, LA. Visitations will be at New Providence Baptist Church in Centerville, La., Saturday, Feb 13, 2010 from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial in Golden Queen Cemetery. Joseph leaves to cherish his memories; his wife; Lee Esther Hunt of Centerville, four sons; Joseph Hunt, Jr. of Jeanerette, Alton Hunt of Franklin, Brandon Hunt of Lafayette and Jeffery Banks of Verdunville, La., five daughters; Juanita Hunt and Judy Fontenot both of Franklin, La., Susan Jones and Balladette Riles both of Lafayette, and Stephanie Banks of Verdunville, one brother; Abram Hunt, Sr., of Lafayette and Faviola H. Williams of Katy, Tx., eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Arrangements are entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Franklin, La.
