

Lyletha Ann Moore-Howard, age 75, a native of Vacherie, LA and resident of Houma, LA passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Lyletha was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Lyletha was a dedicated mentor at Gulf Coast Social Services where she was known for her dedication of helping students succeed in school. She also worked for several years in the Terrebonne Parish School System.
She retired from the banking industry after 33 years of dedicated service. She was a member of The Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court 338 at St. Lucy Catholic Church. Her infinite love for her daughter, grandchildren and family was limitless and unconditional.
Lyletha is survived by her daughter, Tara Jenkins and husband Horace Jenkins of Atlanta, Georgia, co-son, Todd Hartman Sr., co-daughters, Chanda Hartman and Kristen Robinson and husband Javine; grandchildren, Kennedy Jenkins and Chase Jenkins; brother, Cordell Moore (Amanda); sisters Gayle Moore-Westley, Bernadette Smith (Ernest) and Bonita White.
Lyletha was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Moore and Olga Oubre-Moore; sister, Charlene Moore-Hite; great nephews Javine Terrel Robinson, Jr. and Tristian Hartman.
Visitation and Mass service will be observed on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at St. Lucy Catholic Church 1220 Aycock Street, Houma, LA. Visitation from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM followed by Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2, 6124 West Main Street, Houma, LA.
