A memorial service will be observed on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 1:00PM at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360.
She is survived by her sons; Tyrone (Kyma) Amacker, Daryl (Demetrius) Amacker and Kenneth Amacker. Daughters; Cynthia (Karon) Amacker, Carol Arceneaux (Bernard Verdin), Anita (Gerald) Douglas, Bernadette (Darnell) Franklin, Kim and Gwen Amacker. Sister, Rebecca Thomas Brumfield, forty-three grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Eddie Benjamin Brown and Lula Mae Ross and husband, Sam Amacker. Sons; Jerome and Michael Amacker and grandson; Jerrod (Roddy) Brown. Brothers; Norman Brown, Joseph Celestine and Junius Thomas and sisters; Martha Ross and Rosadale Brown.
