Nolan Sims, Jr., age 38, a native and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at University Hospital in New Orleans, La. Visitation will be Saturday, June 30, 2012 at House of The Lord, 523 Hobson St., in Houma, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Houma, La. Nolan leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Agnes Sims of Houma, La., his father, Minister Nolan Sims, Sr., of Houma, La., three sons, Samuel Ross, Nolan Ross and Tyrik Sims all of Houma, La., four daughters, Kala Brown, Ciarra Ross and Josie Ross all of Houma, La., and Chelsea Sims of Gray, La; two brothers, Timothy (Chanell) Campbell and Wayne Keith (Keyonka) Sims, Sr., both of Houma, La; one sister, Jacquelyn V. Sims of Houma, La; three grandchildren, Anahja Ross, Laquintion Wolf, Jr., and Jahine Wolf all of Houma, La; four nephews, Wayne K. Sims, Jr., Emory L. Sims, Kedard Sims and Timothy Campbell, Jr., all of Houma, La; three nieces, Courtney Sims, Myra Moore and Helen Sims all of Houma, La; and a host of relatives and friends.
