Odette ""Dess"" Verdun-Williams, age 89, a native of Verdunville and resident of Franklin, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Patterson Healthcare at 6:00 AM. Visitation will be Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Verdunville, La., from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. DESS leaves to cherish her memories; a sister-in-law, Berdine G. Verdun; two nieces, Elizabeth V. Prevot and Belinda Verdun of Patterson, La; and a nephew, Eric A. Verdun, and his wife, Mary of Patterson, La; great nephews and niece; Errol D. Prevot, Eric A. Verdun, II all of Patterson, La., and Chelsea P. Taylor of Gonzales, La; and a host of relatives and friends. Odette was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Elnora Verdun, her husband, Antoine Williams, her infant son, Alfonse Williams, a sister, Rose Verdun and a brother, Adam G. Verdun
