Orelia Bruce Jackson, age 77, a native of Morgan City, and a resident of Atlanta, GA, died Monday, December 7, 2009 at 2:00 AM at Odyssey Health Care in Atlanta, GA. Visitation will be Saturday; December 19, 2009 at New Zorah Baptist Church in Morgan City from 10:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM. Burial in Franklin Cemetery. Orelia is survived by her three daughters; Sheila Smith and Bertha Jackson both of Morgan City, and Sandy Jackson of Stone Mountain, Ga., three sons; Larry Bruce of Houston, Tx., Eddie Lee Jackson of Patterson, and Alonza Jackson of Morgan City, two sisters; Audrey Jones of Morgan City and Diana Watson of Franklin, La., and two brothers; Louis James Watson of Houston, Tx. and Rev. Preston Watson of Franklin, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
