Patricia Ann Garrette-Washington

Patricia Ann Garrette-Washington, age 57, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Monday, August 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM at her residence. Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2011, at Esphesian Baptist Church from 9:00 AM until funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial in the Morgan City Cemetery. Patricia leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Jessie M. Jordan of Raceland, La., her stepmother, Agusta Jackson of Gibson, La., a son, Patrick January of Port Arthur, TX., two daughters, Shameka Garrett of Patterson, La., and Tikisia G. Young of Morgan City, La., four brothers, Terry Garrett of Morgan City, La., Elder John Garrett, Sr. of Atlanta, GA., Carmelia Garrett and Victor Stewart both of Gibson, La; seven sisters, Deadra Garrett and Tikiwi Garrett-Watson both of Morgan City, La., Felicia Garrett Ortiz of Raceland, La., Julie Garrett of Berwick, La., Cassandra Garrett, Denise Garrett and Deigra Stewart all of Gibson, La; eight grandchildren, Teraneka White, Sylvester Francios, Tyric Garrett, Decobie Taylor, Jahiem Young, Robert Williams, Payton January and Laquisha Young, and a host of relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lee Washington.
