Peter Lynn Harris

Peter Lynn Harris, a resident of Thibodaux, passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born February 4, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the parentage of the late Clarence and Mary Smith Harris.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation with the family begins at 9:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00AM, with burial to follow in Blue Lily Cemetery, Schriever, LA (Johnson Ridge)

Peter was an employee for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Thibodaux, LA for one year and an employee with chemical machinery for two years in Thibodaux, LA. He was a very good at shooting pool and love riding his bike.

Peter was the third of seven children he leaves to cherish memories two brothers, Clarence (Janice) Harris of Schriever, LA, Gregory Harris of Thibodaux, LA; Three sisters: Cynthia (Jerry) Livas of Schriever, LA, Ernestine Harris of Bell Rose, LA, Valeria Harris of Schriever, LA: Uncle Ritney Harris (Thibodaux) Louisiana; Special friend, Ms. Julia Thomas of Houma, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Mary and Clarence Harris, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Albert and Alma Smith; paternal grandparents, Gladys and James Harris; brother, Gary, Harris, and nephew, Derrick “Dom” Livas.
