Raymond Poole, age 71, a resident and native of Morgan City, LA died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City following a long illness. Visitations are Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 10am until funeral at 1pm. Interment at Morgan City Cemetery. Survived by his wife: Ann Washington Poole of Morgan City, two sons: Stanley ""Teedy"" (Debra) Jones of Morgan City and Raymond E. (Shanale) Poole of Atlanta, GA, two daughters: Yvette Alexander of Augusta, GA and Mykel Trahan of Atlanta, GA, siblings: Phillip (Marjorie) Jones of Bayou Vista, Elmira ""Lil Sis"" Johnson, Elaine (Hilbert) Craft both of Morgan City and Mater (Alvin) Singleton of Houma, LA. Thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and of host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
