Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Jones Funeral Home chapel located at 6775 West Park Avenue in Houma. Burial will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Simon Howard (Deborah), Daryle Howard and Clyde Howard (Dionne); daughters, Cheryl Howard, Carla Howard and Mary H. Wallace (Rick); twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother, Irvin Picou; former wife, Heloise Lewis Howard; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon, Sr. and Mary White Howard; paternal grandparents, Phedo and Polly Howard; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Annette White.
