Stephanie Alfreda Carbin

A public viewing will be conducted from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 12 Noon on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church 113 Federal Avenue Morgan City, LA. Pastor Ronald McCoy will officiate. (Per CDC requirement/local regulations everyone is required to wear face masks upon entering into the building at all times). Entombment will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery - Mausoleum Section.

Memories of Stephanie will forever remain in the hearts of her children, Ronald Clay of Dallas, TX, Gillis (Yolanda) Carbin, Jr. of Key Largo FL, Roneld Clay and Alessia Carbin, both of Morgan City, LA; siblings, Chrispin Smith Jr., Sonia D. Smith all of Morgan City, LA and Jonathan Smith of Charenton, LA; four grandchildren, Laia Clay, Gillanda Carbin, Jeremiah Brinkley, and Aylin Williams; a goddaughter, Alicia Bradford Siner and a host of other relatives and friends.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Dr. Chrispin F. Smith, Sr. and Laura C. Smith; grandparents, Iris LaVerta Green and Charles Copper, Sr. and David Smith, Sr. and Alfreda Williams Smith; an aunt, Julia C. Dixson and her uncles, Vincent Copper, Sr., Charles Copper, Jr., David Smith, Jr., and Xenophon Copper.
