Steven Dwayne Collins, 50, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Monday, December 9, 2013 at 2:10 a.m. Visitation will be from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at First Corinthian Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Southdown Cemetery. He is survived by: his mother, Shirley Robinson Matthews; two daughters, Dyesha and Ishired Collins; stepson, Lamar Green; brother, Arnold Collins and fiance Andrea Charles; five sisters, Madelyn Sanders and husband Dexter, Lisha Thomas and husband Sam, Lucretia, Courtney, and Wyonekia Collins. He was preceded in death by: his father, Madison Collins, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Nathenial and Ellen Robinson; paternal grandparents, Madison, Sr. and Cecil Bonner-Collins.
