Tyrika Brown

Visitation and funeral services will be observed from 8:00A.M until funeral time at 10: 00A.M on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.  (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.) 

Memories of Tyrika will forever remain in the heart of her children, Christopher Carter, Laci Cruz, Tyre' Brown and Rashad Brown. Her parents, Margaret B. Jones and Bruce Jones, Sr. Brother, Bruce Jones, Jr., (Melody) and eight grandchildren. 

Tyrika was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Payne and father, Samuel Joseph Bennett. Maternal Grandmother, Maudgie W. Brown Riley and Humphrey Brown. Great-grandmother, Sylvia V. Brown and Sam Williams. Paternal grandfather, Zachary Bennett, Jr., and Ellodie Bingham Bennett. Great-grandfathers, Samuel E. Bingham and Zachary Bennett, Sr. Aunts, Margaret W. Brown, Janette W. Cloud, Denise F. Riley Howard and uncle, Cyreal Brown.
