Ada Louise Elliott

Ada Louise Elliott, age 86, entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2025, in Humble, Texas. She was born on September 23, 1938 in Lovelady, Texas to Wesley A. & Ola Riley. Ada Louise graduated from Huntsville High School and received her diploma. She met Delbert Elliott in Trinity, Texas, and they were married on November 21, 1956. Ada was a member of the American Legion Post 578 and was passionate about those she loved most, her family.

She loved dancing, music, fishing and casinos. She cheered and rooted for both the Houston Texans and the Houston Astros. She gave the best grandma hugs! Ada enjoyed cooking food and baking for her family.

Ada is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Elliott; daughter, Rhonda Poole; parents, Wesley & Ola Riley; and son in law, Jack Marsh. Left to cherish her loving memory are her daughter, Vicki Marsh; son, Darrell Elliott & wife Debbie; and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with multiple nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Ada will be held Monday, July 28, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:30 AM, with a committal service to follow at 11:30 AM at Brookside Memorial Park.
