Captain Adeyinka Mobee was born on January 25, 1960 to the Mobee and Adegboye families (both parents also of blessed memory). He attended the famous Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos Nigeria in the early 70s before proceeding to the Lagos State College of Science and Technology, and later the Nigerian Civil Aviation Training Center.
He started his professional career at Concord Airlines, Lagos Nigeria in February 1990, and has flown with several airlines both here in the US and Africa.
Adeyinka Mobee was a remarkable professional pilot, dedicating over 35 years to the skies with more than 20,000 flight hours logged on both commercial and private planes. His passion for flying took him around the world, and he touched countless lives through his selfless work and infective smiles. His colleagues admired him for his expertise, while his friends appreciated his warmth and camaraderie.
He was not just a pilot; he was the captain of his family. A loving husband to Toyin Mobee who he fondly called Precious, he shared a bond that was a testament to true partnership and love. As a father, he nurtured his two children, Sandra and Leke, instilling in them the values of kindness, determination, and a sense of adventure.
Beyond his family, Captain Mobee was a devoted brother, a loyal friend, and a mentor to many. He approached life with an infectious enthusiasm, always ready with a smile, a joke, or a story from his travels. His adventurous spirit inspired those around him, reminding us all to pursue our dreams and cherish each moment.
As we remember him, we honor his legacy of love, adventure, and friendship. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever soar in our hearts.
