Jerry, Holly, Tim and Jessica,  While we are far away in Virginia, we are there spiritual with all of you. We love you guys.

I have fond memories of the Andreski family from our time as neighbors on Van Ness. I spent many happy hours playing with Bernard, Jerry and Donnie. May God comfort you in your loss.

As fellow neighbors for several decades, our entire family sends many prayers of sympathy for the loss of a true angel. The Blackwood and Andreski families were like peas and carrots with numerous children often in the other's home for meals, uninvited but always welcomed. Know that your mom is in heaven smiling down on all of you. She will be dearly missed but the memories will live forever.

It's been many years since we all grew up on Van Ness Street, but there are many cherished memories of your mom and ours (Amelia Blackwood). Both were very kind and special ladies. Although it has been 10 years since we lost our mom, she still guides us through each day. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Ms. Andreski has gone on to be with the Lord and her absence will be missed but what a joyful homecoming for those who will greet her on the other side. Deepest sympathy to the family for your great loss.  May the loving- kindness of God sustain you through this sad time and in the days ahead. In part of the passage in Psalm 90 verse 10, it states, " The span of our life is 70 years, or 80 if one is especially strong......"  Your love one lived well beyond that average life span. It was a blessing to your family. May you find a measure of comfort as you share loving memories.

May you all find comfort knowing that in her 92 years of life she had few regrets, much love for all of you, lots of happiness shared and many moments of joy.  She was and still is proud of each and everyone of you.  

Although she may not be here on this earth, she lives on in heaven and in our hearts.

My twin sister, Linda Raymond, and I lived two doors down from the Andreski's.   Bernard was our age and we have such great memories of Bernard and Bernice when we all played baseball on each other's spare lots.    We remember Mrs. Andreski as a very kind person who always welcomed us in her home.   We are so sorry for your loss.

I never called you by your first or last name, I always called you Momma.  I watched you as you planted flowers in your garden and always appreciated the flowers and clippings you gave me.  I will miss our secret conversations, your laughter and your stories.
  
I guess the Lord needed a new flower and someone to help tend his garden, he picked you. 
 
With much loving thoughts of you touching me in so many ways, I will always remember you.  And yes, I will continue to keep my promise to you.

My condolences to the Andreski Family during this time of sadness.  I hope that you will find some comfort in knowing that although God whom resides in high and holy place, is with "those crushed and lowly in spirit...." (Isaiah 57:15)
