Al was a wonderful man. Kind and smart and a good, loyal friend.  Will always remember how thoughtful and helpful he was to me when I was just starting out a Conoco in Stamford. Still miss him.

I was so so sad to read of Al's passing! What a wonderful, kin and gentle giant he was. I worked as his PA in the late sixties at Conoco in London and he was an absolutely wonderful man he was bringing people together from different cultures. We had great fun and many happy memories of him in those days when his children were little. I'd like to send my deepest sympathies to his family. He was just a lovely man. May he rest in God's peace.

I worked with/for Al, at Conoco in London from 1984-1986. The experience changed my life and career and he has been a role-model for me ever since.  Al was a gentleman and a scholar. A kind, warm-hearted man of great intellect and humanity.  It was a privilege to have known him.

I was shocked and deeply saddened when I attended Al's memorial service during Sunday Mass at the Maronite Cathedral. I was deeply sadden to hear of the passing of my Godfather, Alfred Boulos. Like Uncle Freddie who met his wife at a Columbiaa University Nickel Beer Night; I too met my wife at a Nickel Beer Night. This urbane gentleman was a great friend of the Nolan Family. 
He was every inch a great Godfather.

We are saddened by the passing of "Uncle Freddy", a giant among men, and patriarch of an enormously wonderful, giving and loving family. Our condolences to you.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Boulos family.  I had the pleasure and good fortune to work with Mr. Boulos as his assistant at Conoco, and I learned so much from him that I always attributed any future success in my career to him.  Although I left Conoco in 1994 and have retired, I have kept his letter of recommendation in my files as a kind reminder of a wonderful and gracious man who was admired and respected by many.  Rest in peace, Mr. Boulos.

Al...a colleague, a friend, an inspiration.  Great leadership is difficult to maintain...but in Al's case it is proven by the fact that all of Al's soldiers were volunteers.  Al truely lives on in each of us...

So many great memories of "Freddie" from Brooklyn Heights.  He was such a smiling face in the Nolan household.  I can still heear his laughter and that look.  Our brother Gerard and Freddie were as close as brothers.  He will be missed and loved from all the Nolans.  We love you Freddie.

As a child from a from a huge family, he was destined for greatness
His drive and ambition, he wouldn't settle for less 
   The youngest of nine children, there would always be fun
The love they all shared, was second to none

Found the love of his life, in a woman named Mary
She was his pillar of strength, never wavering at all
No matter the situation, she always stood tall
The father of six children, they were raised oh so well
Traveling the world, the great stories they could tell
He helped all who would ask, always had great advice
Whether family or friend, he would never think twice
He always stayed in touch, with family and friends
Reliving great memories, with an aura he sends
We love him so dearly, visiting when he can

I met Mr. Boulos while working as a new "temporary" administrative aide in 1991.  He was the kindest man and so appreciative of everything I did for him.  It was obvious that his family meant the world to him.  He was a very remarkable man.  I am very sorry for your loss.

Al was the consummate gentleman negotiator. Fair, tough but friendly and always courteous he was the embodiment of the perfect representative to craft out a fair deal with the most cantankerous opponents on the other side usually converting them from foes to lifelong friends. Al was a friend to many and a man of great intellect.  We became through membership in the Windsor Club where he was a Member for years and a regular guest speaker.  Al's brother, he told me, had been a Member of my college Social Fraternity and the organization was very special to him.  I arranged and Al accepted an invitation to become a Member of TKE Fraternity, as was his brother.  This connection to his long passed brother seemed very specuiial to Al.  We have lost a good man and a good friend.

Al was one of my best friends.  He and Mary are wonderful people and spending time with them both together (and their children!) was always a pleasure.  Al was invaluable to me as a supporter and adviser.  I shall miss him deeply.  Our hearts go to our dear friend Mary and to Mary, Liz, Katie, John, Susie, Peggy and all of the grandchildren who we know will miss Al.

Al was the benchmark for international negotiators.  His legal and contractual knowledge was unsurpassed.  But his respect for other cultures and his sense of fairness and his integrity truly set distinguished Al from the mainstream.  Al will be missed by many the world over.

Al was a wonderful addition to the Houston Consular Corps. He was always kind and caring and had a smile for everyone. He will surely be missed. My sincerest sympathy to his family.

Al was the most gracious and kindest person I have ever had the pleasure of working with over the years. He was held in high esteem in the eyes of everyone in the old International Exploration Hdqtrs.Graphic Depart. We loved working on projects for Al. He was wonderful. I know he will be missed.

I knew Mr. Boulos in the early 90's working on the AIPN agreement and found him to be a man of integrity and passion.  It was a priviledge to have known him.  May God bring comfort to his family.

Al was one of those people you never forget. We met at Conoco in 1976 and in all the times we met over the years he never changed -- a good, good man.

My sincere sympathy to the Boulos family.  I first met Al Boulos in the early 1990's through the AIPN.  His devotion to the organization and international petroleum industry and as a mentor to my generation of AIPN members is unsurpassed.  Thank you Al as you look down upon us from the  heavens. It's been a privilege to know Mr. Boulos for the last 7 years.  He was a friendly caring gentleman and I will miss him very much.

Al is one great gentleman and compassionate friend who I knew since 1994.  In 2006 we lost our two year old son in a drowning accident and during this time of having a heavy heart, it was Al who repeatedly reached out to me with positive words of comfort and I could not have gotten through this tragedy without his help.  Al and I were raised as Roman Catholics and  spent many moments reflecting on the Church and its teachings.  I am sure Al is in Heaven and I pray he has the time to look after my dearly departed son.

We pray for Mr. Boulos' soul and for The Good Lord to grant you strength and consolation.
