Having been a close friend to Sonja since high school, I have always had a soft spot in my heart for her family as well. Words are inadequate to describe the wonderful, loving, feisty spirit of Alice.  I was so privileged to be her daughter-in-law, and to have called her friend for years after.  My children were blessed to have her for their grandmother; and she will be missed by us all.
