Alice Ng Yee

Alice Yee was born on March 8, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to Jan Hong & Mildred Go Ng. She attended Jefferson High School and classes at the University of Texas at Austin while her husband received his Pharmacy degree from UT.

Alice worked beside her husband, Sing, in their pharmacy business. She was also a housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved sewing, cooking, and making doll clothes for her grandchildren. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Alice and Sing always showed Texas hospitality to all their houseguests. They were very proud of their children’s accomplishments.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Sing. She leaves 3 children,

Dr. Allison Yee (Carol), Pam Yee (Dr. Gary Yee) and Dr. Lansing Yee (Alice). She is further survived by 6 grandchildren, Dr. Kelli Ha (Thuan), Dr. Jamie Washburn (Chris), Dr. Emily Fulkerson (Jeff), Michael Yee, PharmD (Na), Brian Yee, JD, and Stephen Yee.

She is further survived by seven great-grandchildren, Maddie, Audrey & Zoey Ha; Valentina Washburn; Jaden, Emmet, and Kendon Fulkerson. She also leaves three siblings, Betty Chinn (Bill), Kung Ng (Fing) and Mary Jo Lew, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Following the service, a luncheon at Hibachi Grill & Buffet, 12183 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas will be served.
