Allison "Ally" Polansky

Allison Denise Polansky (Ally) 44, of Galveston, TX. was born on February 2, 1979, in Houston, TX. and passed away on May 8, 2023. Allison graduated from Northbrook High School in 1997 with honors, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, participated in FFA, and the Bandoleros drill team. She went on to graduate from Lone Star College, and served her community by graduating from the Galveston County Citizen’s Police Academy.

She is survived by her parents, James and Joan Polansky, sisters Michelle Polansky, Kathleen Torres and brother in law Tommy Torres. She was preceded in death by her faithful fur baby, Chelsea.

Allison had a love of the beach, ocean life, having her toes in the sand, living a carefree life, and she loved her Yoda. She is loved by many and will continue to live on through us.

We will celebrate her life on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home 1200 West 34th Houston, TX. 77018. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M., Rosary at 10:30 A.M. and Memorial Services at 11:00 A.M. Lunch will follow at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church (Activity Center) 2759 Hollister Street Houston, TX. 77080.

Allison is a strong advocate of mental health awareness; we would appreciate helping spread her message (Green = Mental Health Awareness / Lime Green = Depression Awareness).
