Tia Amelia was always full of love, warm hugs and a bright smile. Even when I was little she was someone that I could laugh with or tell a joke to. She had a way of making a child feel accepted and important. Little did I know that when I would become a young man that I would meet my future wife at Tio Fidencio's and Tia Amelia's church in Baycliff, Texas. Tia Amelia, you will be missed. You've touched the hearts of so many. And because Jesus lived in you and lives in so many us still here, we don't have to say "goodbye" or "farewell", but, "until tomorrow." We love you Tia.

Amelia was always such a beautiful woman, inside & out.  My cousin by marriage, and, always happy to call her family.  Ever since I was a kid, I always knew her with a smile.   She was always so positive, and, encouraging.  Rest in Eternity, Amelia.  You are greatly missed by all.  My sincerest condolences and prayers are with my family.

I just want to say no other woman I knew that exuded such a humbling and sweet spirit as my Hermana Romero.  You were a great example to me as I was your neighbor, your sister in Christ serving together and you were a second mom to my two younger kids while I went to work.  

Her children would agree with me in rising up and calling her blessed.

God has received a beautiful saint and so pleased with her testimony.  Our prayers to all her family and we press on in the name of JESUS as she did.

My condolences and love to Tio Larry, Nina, Amanda, Rene, Jaime and the rest of the family. I have such great memories of Tia Amelia and her love of those around her. 

I'd like to send my deepest condolences to the Romero family from la Familia Salas.  My mom and dad were good friends with Larry and Amelia for many years.  Amelia was like a second mom to me. She always greeted me with    a big hug and a hot meal. Then she would listen to the stories about the  crazy things Rene,  Jaime and me used to get into.  I promised her I would stop skipping rocks  around Jaime! :) She will be missed and cherished by many. I know she is looking down on us right now and sending us her love.  

Mrs. Romero will always be “Mom” to us. She was Jeanette’s one and only babysitter for 6 yrs and has always had a special place in our hearts. Mr. and Mrs.Romero were the first ones to see Jeanette when we brought her home from the hospital so they could pray over her and that was the best feeling ever.  There are no words to tell the Romero family how sad we feel but we know she is at peace.

My condolences to the family . It was a honor and a blessing to have met  Hna. Romero during my teenage years. She was a wonderful sweet lady who always had a beautiful smile.
