Anna Mae Plake, 91, of Houston, Texas passed away on May 27, 2017. She was born in Foster, Missouri on March 3, 1926. Anna married Franklin Truman Plake on April 6, 1951. She work in retail and retired from K-mart. Family, crochet, gardening, and travel were her passions.
Anna is survived by children, Rhonda Adl, Pamela Clark, Jim Plake, Tim Plake; grandchildren: Amy Calzoncin, Angela Salinas, Jennifer Van Ness, James Plake, Christopher Plake, Laura Perdue, and John Thomas Plake. She was the last survivor of six siblings.
Family will receive extended family and friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral will be on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.am. in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, with the interment following in Brookside Memorial Park.
