Anne Marie Jamili, 48, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2019 surrounded by family in Houston, Texas. She was born to parents Gil Rodriguez and Maria Corona Rodriguez, on March 7, 1970 in Zamboanga City, Philippines.
She graduated high school from Pilar College in 1987 and later moved to Sydney, Australia. In 1991 she moved to Houston, Texas. She went on to follow her passion and studied nursing at University of Texas- Medical Branch and graduated in 1997.
Anne Marie began her nursing career at Memorial Hermann-Southwest. After several years she ventured off to work as a travel nurse where she pursued her love of travel and adventure in several cities such as Denver, Portland and San Antonio. With her caring and loving nature, nursing was truly her calling as patients, coworkers and even doctors loved her.
Anne Marie met Hector Jamili in 1995. They were married on 2002 in Houston, Texas. Together they raised 3 children: Sebatian, Hunter and Corinne while traveling to California, Japan, Germany, Mississippi and finally settling in Colorado.
A loving mother and homemaker, Anne Marie gave up her nursing career to focus on giving her love and attention to her children and husband. As an arts and crafts enthusiast, she used her creativity to create scrapbooks for her family as well as customized cards for family and friends on special occasions. She always made sure to send cards to make sure loved ones knew they were remembered.
Anne Marie is survived by her husband, Hector Jamili, son, Sebastian Jamili, son, Hunter Jamili, daughter, Corinne Jamili, father, Gil Rodriguez, mother, Maria Corona Rodriguez, brother, Gil John Rodriguez, sister, Tricia Valencia, brother-in-law, Eric Valencia, nephew, Eric Joshua Valencia, niece, Madeleine Valencia, sister, Cristy Rodriguez.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, March 10th from 3-6pm with Vigil Mass & rosary. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, March 11th at 10:30am at St John Vianney Catholic Church. A reception will follow at Hibachi Grill & Buffet, 12138 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas 77079. Reverend Clark Sample will officiate the ceremony.
