Annet Geaccone Pearson

Annet was born on the 5th of January 1925 to Louis and Theresa Gusemano. Annet was born in Houston and attended Jeff Davis High School. She married at seventeen to Dr. Sam J. Geaccone in 1942. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Lynda Aquilina, Terri Schwartz, and Dr. Gary Geaccone.

Annet lived a long and active life. She lived life to the fullest. She was called Nanny throughout her life by her close friends and family. Annet was widowed in 1971. She remarried James A. Pearson in 1981, who passed away in 2011. Throughout her long and happy life, she relished spending time with family as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always dressed impeccably with perfect hair and greeted people with her perpetual bright smile. Annet loved dancing, traveling, and playing bridge and mahjong. Annet was a devoted Catholic who began attending St. Michael’s Catholic Church in 1955. She volunteered with the Charity Guild of Catholic Women for over 50 years. She was a founding member of the women’s philanthropic club Donne di Domani.

Annet is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Theresa Gusemano, her husbands, Dr. Sam J. Geaccone and James A. Pearson, and her grandson Chase Schwartz. Annet is survived by her brother, Dr. Frank Gusemano and his wife Rosalie; her daughters, Lynda Aquilina and Terri Schwartz and her husband Pepe; her son, Dr. Gary L. Geaccone; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to greet the family during a visitation at twelve o’clock noon on Saturday, the 26th of April, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Rd in Houston, where the Mass of Christian Burial is to commence at one o’clock in the afternoon.
