Annie Mae Gonzalez

Annie Mae Gonzalez went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2017. She was born on October 31, 1920 in Oklahoma. Annie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 75 years Manuel P. Gonzalez; children: John Manuel Gonzalez, Gilbert Gene Gonzalez, Paul Anthony Gonzalez and his wife Nancy, James Alfred Gonzalez and his wife Nancy, Larry Lyle Gonzalez and his wife Beatrice, Mary Ann Gonzalez Herber and Carol Lyn DeVinney and her husband Ed; grandchildren: Alice Gonzalez, Diane Troublefield and her husband Kelly, Connie Powell and her husband Billy, Steven Gonzalez, Kenneth Gonzalez, Sheri McIntosh and her husband Dave, David Gonzalez and his wife Kyoko, Leah Crowley and her husband Ryan, Tonya Powell and her husband Mark, Tamera Gonzalez, Jack Conkel, Maleena Rubio and her husband Josh, Stacie Garcia, Amanda Ellisor and her husband Don, Shauna Escalante and her husband Leo, Samantha Herber; twenty-six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Annie is preceded by mother Daisy Landers Bowens and sisters: Pearl Davis and Dorothy Janz.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org or any charity of choice in memory of Annie Mae Gonzalez.
