Antonio Gutierrez Leines de 83 años de edad, falleció en paz en su hogar en Waller, Texas, el 9 de enero de 2026, rodeado por el amor de su querida familia, después de una larga lucha contra la demencia y complicaciones de neumonía.

Nacido en Tampico, Tamaulipas, México, hijo de Manuel Gutierrez y Lucrecia Leines, Antonio realizó una vida basada firmemente en la fe católica, una fuerte ética del trabajo y un profundo amor y devoción a su familia. En 1964, se casó con el amor de su vida, Paula Del Angel, iniciando un matrimonio de más de 60 años marcado por el amor, el sacrificio y la confianza.

En 1968 Antonio emigró a Houston con su familia jovin para recibir atención médica para una de sus hijas. Aprendio ser un técnico de enderesado automotriz, con su esposa Paula compraron sus primera casa en Houston Heights y establecieron su parroquia en la Iglesia Católica de Todo Los Santos.

El era reconocido como un hombre de compassion y generosidad, siempre dispesto de ayudar a todos. y su dedicación a su familia y amigos. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Paula; sus cinco hijos: Maria Lucrecia Garcia y su esposo Gabriel, Araceli Castillo y su esposo Jose A., Marcelina Alvarado y su esposo Eduardo, Paula Gonzalez y su esposo Reynaldo, y Antonio Gutierrez Jr. y su esposa Edna; catorce nietos; y cinco bisnietos.

Su vida fue un testimonio del amor duradero, una fe firme en Dios, y la familia sobre todo. Su pasion vive en la familia que tanto amó.

Antonio Gutierrez Leines, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Waller, Texas, on January 9, 2026, surrounded by his beloved family, following a long battle with dementia and complications from pneumonia.

Born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Manuel Gutierrez and Lucrecia Leines, Antonio built a life rooted in the Catholic faith, a strong work ethic, and deep love and devotion to his family. In 1964, he married the love of his life, Paula Del Angel, beginning a marriage of more than 60 years marked by love, sacrifice, and trust.

In the late 1960s, Antonio immigrated to Houston with his young family in order to seek medical care for one of his daughters. He became skilled as an automotive body repair technician, purchased their first home in the Houston Heights, and made All Saints Catholic Church their parish home.

He was known for his compassion, generosity in helping others and his unwavering commitment to family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Paula; their five children: Maria Lucrecia Garcia and son-in-law Gabriel, Araceli Castillo and son-in-law Jose A., Marcelina Alvarado and son-in-law Eduardo, Paula Gonzalez and son-in-law Reynaldo, and Antonio Gutierrez and daughter-in-law Edna; fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

His life was a testament to enduring love, steadfast faith, and family above all else. His legacy lives on in the family he so deeply loved.
