Dr. Antonio Rallos Macapaz

He was born in Tuburan, Cebu City, Philippines on June 4, 1942 to parents Felix Macapaz and Concepcion Rallos Macapaz. Antonio received a degree as a Doctor of Medicine from Southwestern University. He later met the love of his life, Josephine Roberts Macapaz, and were wed on February 17, 1973. Antonio had a career as a General Surgeon in the Philippines, and later as a licensed Surgical Assistant at United Memorial Medical Center in Houston, Tx.

He is preceded in death by father Felix Macapaz (†); mother, Concepcion Rallos Macapaz (†); brothers, Benjamin Macapaz (†) and wife Tita Macapaz (†), Carly Macapaz and wife Neneng Macapaz, Ramon Macapaz and wife Jeanette Macapaz, Edward Macapaz and wife Tessie Aripal Macapaz, Felixberto Macapaz (†) and wife Rhea Macapaz, Roy Glenn Macapaz and wife Lilibeth Macapaz, Dennis Vincent Macapaz and wife Caridad Zambrano Macapaz, Zilton Macapaz and wife Nelida Macapaz; sister Angelina Eria and husband Estelito Eria (†); nephews and nieces.

He is Survived by daughter Marie Jo-an M. Caballero and spouse, Juan L. Caballero; Sons: Antonio R. Macapaz II and wife, Catherine Douglass Macapaz, Walter Ryan Macapaz and wife, Buffy Lawrence Macapaz, and John Paolo Macapaz; grandchildren: Jonas Giovanni Caballero, Josh Giancarlo Caballero, Jakobi Gianni Caballero, Kai Anthony Macapaz, and Jaylen Macapaz.

A memorial service for Antonio will be held Friday, June 16, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
