Arnold Clare Loomis

On November 9, 1932 in Perry, Michigan to the late Arnold and Genevieve (Bunline) Loomis. He resided in Michigan, Florida, and Texas.

Arnold was preceded in death by his wife Joan Loomis and son Doug Loomis. He is survived by his son Chris (Suzanne) Loomis and daughter Joan (Fred) Wamhoff. He and his wife had a beautiful family which grew to include 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Linda Fulton and preceded in death by his sisters, Catherine Rawson, Margaret Abent and Theresa Kollek.

Arnold was dedicated to education and began teaching soon after his graduation from MSU. He quickly became a principal at Hartland High School and then at Haslett High School. Students still to this year connected with him. He accepted a position with the State of Michigan and became the Director of Vocational Education for many years.

A memorial celebrating his life will take place near Lansing, Michigan with a private burial following. Information will be posted at the Brookside Funeral Home Cypress Creek
