My condolences to you all, especially to Sue, but most particularly to Melissa.
The loss of Asa deprives us of an age of dignity and grace. As a client in the investment industry, he showed me an astute grasp of all things financial. More than that, he took time to guide me. As the years passed, his faith and love of family would often surface. His goodness permeated the conversation. 
We are diminished by his passing, but we relish his memory. He made us better people.

I extend my sincere sympathy to you.  I knew Asa from my mother's time at Belmont Village.  He was a wonderful man and we always enjoyed our conversations with him.  I know he will be missed.

I worked at Bank of America many of the same years as Asa and we had lunch together many times over those years. He was the most intelligent person I think I ever spent time with. He knew so much about most everything.Over the years since our BofA days, I have thought of him many times. He has just moved on to a wider realm with many new things he can become expert at and I feel certain he will be mastering each. Judy Hughes
