It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Atakan, a devoted husband, cherished father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend, who departed this life on January 3rd, 2025 at the age of 85.

Atakan lived life to the fullest, always on his own terms, embracing every moment with a spirit of adventure and a love for those closest to him. His family was his greatest joy, and his unwavering dedication to them was the foundation of his life.

A man of many passions, Atakan found exhilaration in flying, often saying it gave him a sense of freedom unmatched by anything else. He was also a proud Mason, embodying the principles of brotherhood, integrity, and service in all that he did.

Atakan had an unmatched gift for bringing laughter into any room. He loved to joke around, always ready with a quick wit and a warm smile, brightening the lives of everyone he met. His sense of humor was as unforgettable as his big-hearted nature.

Fly high, Atakan. Your legacy of love, laughter, and living boldly will inspire us always.
